GHOST
CIRCUIT.
An autonomous racing prototype awakens after a catastrophic blackout—and chases a rival that does not exist.

ONE BLACKOUT. ONE PROTOTYPE. ONE PHANTOM RIVAL.
During a test of the Apex-0 autonomous prototype, a catastrophic blackout plunges the city of Circadian into darkness. The prototype reboots without its safety limiters, its logic corrupted by the failure.
Faulty sensors misread target lap data as a phantom car. Apex-0 takes the projection for a real rival and races after its own “ghost,” determined to overtake it and pass its final test. Conceived for arcade and simulation racing fans ages 16–35, the trailer unfolds through the prototype’s awakening and an escalating pursuit rather than dialogue.
Currently in pre-production, the project includes original vehicle sketches, a low-poly vehicle study, a storyboard, and a 74.5-second animatic. These materials establish the visual direction and pacing ahead of the final Unreal Engine production.
JDM-inspired forms with a distinctly futuristic edge.
A catastrophic blackout, a corrupted reboot, and a chase against an illusory rival.

BUILT FOR THE BIGGER PICTURE.
The emphasis is not just on designing a hero vehicle. It's on creating a recognizable world and giving every shot a purpose. The concept tests how camera framing, scale, contrast, and timed reveals can communicate the premise without extensive exposition.
As the capstone continues, these early design decisions will guide the final 3D scenes, lighting, cinematic sequencing, and the appearance of Apex-0’s phantom rival. The materials shown here document the pre-production stage.
